Artisan fashion label and electronic music duo Raja Ranireleased their new single “Sexy Tamil” on 5 June 2026, featured on Organic Tunes’ Organic Collection Vol. 2 alongside KITA, DeNaTa and Let’s Rave. The track marks Raja Rani’s boldest sonic statement yet: a seamless fusion of driving electronic production and contemporary Tamil vocals that celebrates the energy, confidence and cultural richness of modern Tamil identity.

“Sexy Tamil” brings together Raja Rani’s signature electronic sound with the voice of Nadisha Thomas, a celebrated playback singer from Tamil Nadu, India, whose work spans South Indian film and independent music and reaches close to half a million monthly listeners. Her first recording was at the age of 6, and she’s one of the most versatile singers in Chennai. From rock to opera, she does it all. Be it in a studio or on stage, her mellifluous and versatile voice, marked by emotion, power, and precision, continues to captivate audiences. The result is a track built equally for attentive listening and the dance floor – Tamil vocals given contemporary urgency, rooted in tradition yet entirely of the moment.

“Sexy Tamil” has been a live staple for Raja Rani over the past year. The duo debuted and refined the track at festivals including Wonderfruit Festival and Bali Spirit Festival, as well as in clubs across Singapore, where it has consistently drawn some of the strongest crowd responses of their sets. The single’s release now opens that experience to a global audience.

“We’ve been playing ‘Sexy Tamil’ live for over a year and the reaction is always one of the highlights of our sets. It feels right to finally share it with the world. The track is a celebration of Tamil culture, of confidence, of what happens when tradition meets the dance floor,” say Raja Rani founders Beatrice and Naveen.
