Following the release of her infectious summer single, "Running Home", Vietnamese-Canadian pop singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Jade LeMac has released her heartfelt track, "Sleeping with the Lights On". This marks the third track from Jade's highly anticipated EP, 'It's Always At Night', due November 7th via Warner Music Canada / East West Records. A tender, emotionally raw track, "Sleeping with the Lights On" sees Jade LeMac at her most vulnerable. "How the hell are you so fine, while I’m out here losing my mind?" she belts, as she opens up about the raw aftermath of heartbreak. Jade has been giving fans an early taste of the song while on tour, and most recently featured it in her powerful Audiotree live session — a set that also includes "Constellations", "Running Home", and an interview.

Jade's impassioned storytelling has set her apart since her career beginnings, and 'It's Always At Night' adds new chapters. The forthcoming EP is built on the artist's guitar, whose poetic riffs—with the help of longtime production partner JVP (Mother Mother, Simple Plan)—were amplified to bring a bigger pop sound to the new music. One of the EP's most endearing treasures is the vocal choir woven throughout, made up of Jade's friends and family. In the EP, Jade dives into themes of being in love and finding yourself through it all, opening herself to listeners and empowering herself through her vulnerability. Explaining, Jade says, "'It's Always At Night' is a story about a person who's in love with love. There are songs for so many emotions—heartbreak, desire, love, and lust. Each song is its own story about the different ways I've felt while being in love with someone."
