STAYC Marks Their S-Class Comeback with New Single Album [S]. Unveils stunning music video for title track “BEBE”

March 19, 2025

Six-member Kpop girl group STAYC is set to redefine their musical journey with the release of their fifth single album [S]! Available now on all major streaming platforms, this comeback marks a bold transformation from the group’s signature charming energy to a more edgy aesthetic.

After a five-month break, STAYC returns with a fresh narrative that underscores their dedication to engaging deeply with their fans. Anchored by a unified theme, [S]serves as a bridge to connecting the girl group with diverse audiences, encapsulating the ideals of “Sensual, Sophisticated, Self-esteem”.

The title track “BEBE”, a funky house number featuring an addictive drop and danceable rhythm, is accompanied by an eye-catching music video, embodies this new direction by merging striking visuals and bold typography reminiscent of high-fashion editorials. The catchy hook “Don’t wanna be a bebe” delivers a powerful message of defying stereotypes and embracing their true selves, inviting fans to explore the essence of authenticity, transcending images that others impose.

"DIAMOND" is a contemporary R&B track infused with Afro rhythms, showcasing STAYC’s captivating vocals. The song exudes optimism, encouraging listeners to let go of the fear of what lies ahead and look forward to a future that will shine like a diamond.

"PIPE DOWN" is a pop R&B track featuring catchy brass sounds that highlight a more robust vocal style previously unseen from STAYC. With a witty nod to the idea of a “mute button”, the song reflects the group’s bold attitude and reinforces their commitment to reinventing their musical identity.
