Pop superstar, songwriter, actress and cultural phenomenon Addison Rae has released her latest single “High Fashion” via Columbia Records with cinematic new music video available for streaming on all digital platforms. Listen to the new song and watch the Mitch Ryan directed video here.

The song lyrics were first teased last month when Addison was spotted wearing a t-shirt with the chorus written in hot pink letters. The lyrics were then published in the February 2025 issue of Rolling Stone where Addison graced the cover shot by the iconic Inez & Vinoodh.

Addison announced the track’s Valentine’s Day release date with an official teaser unveiled Monday. Filmed in her home state of Louisiana, the video—with creative by Addison Rae, Lexee Smith & Mitch Ryan—delivers all the fashion its title promises, with styling by her frequent collaborator DARA, makeup by the iconic Dame Pat McGrath, hair by Lucas Wilson, and nails by Mei. “I don’t need your drugs, I’d rather get high fashion,” Addison declares, as the video takes fans on a dazzling, chaotic ride through clouds of glitter, a burning field, and a striking homage to The Wizard of Oz with an iconic pair of ruby slippers.

Since the release of Diet Pepsi in October, Addison has cemented herself as one of pop’s most promising new voices. The track became her most streamed song to date and marked her first entry on the Billboard Hot 100. Following closely was Aquamarine, whose Paris-shot music video served as a fashion spectacle. Both songs, along with High Fashion, will appear on Addison’s highly anticipated debut album.

ABOUT ADDISON RAE

Addison Rae has become one of the most recognizable young stars in Hollywood. In August, she released her new single "Diet Pepsi," marking her first collaboration with Columbia Records. The single made a significant splash, becoming Addison’s first to enter the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Released alongside a music video directed by Sean Price Williams under the creative direction of Mel Ottenberg, "Diet Pepsi" continues to cement Addison’s growing influence in music. Addison followed Diet Pepsi with her most recent single “Aquamarine” alongside a dazzling music video shot in Paris, France. Last year, she released her long-awaited debut EP titled AR. The EP gained 10 million streams in its first week and features the hit song “2 Die 4” featuring Charli xcx. Further collaborating with Charli, Addison joined in on her remix of the hit song “Von Dutch” going viral earlier this summer. On the film side, Addison was recently announced to star in Legendary’s R-rated live-action hybrid Animal Friends opposite Ryan Reynolds, Jason Momoa, Dan Levy, and Aubrey Plaza. She was also most recently seen in Eli Roth’s horror film Thanksgiving opposite Patrick Dempsey, which debuted in theaters globally and was recently added to Netflix, where it quickly hit #1 (her second film to achieve this milestone). In 2021, Addison starred in Netflix’s feature film He’s All That, directed by Mark Waters. The film, a gender-switched reboot of the 1999 cult classic She’s All That, premiered as the #1 movie on the platform in 80 countries. Since the beginning of 2020, Addison has amassed over 88M followers on TikTok with over 5.8B likes and 35M followers on Instagram.
