First teased in 2020, the Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins production has had a rally cry for its release ever since. Its Quentin Tarantino-esque visual finds the beloved songstress flexing her acting chops opposite star of FX’s Atlanta, Lakeith Stanfield (viewers will remember him from the “I Hate U” visualizer). From beginning to end, SZA commands each scene with a fervent  prowess; fans will see more of her acting skills in her feature film debut in the upcoming movie Tuna Melt by Eddie Huang.

The new single follows the 2022 TIME100 Nextcover star’s nominations at the 2022 American Music Awards for “Favorite R&B Song,” “Favorite Female R&B Artist,” and “Favorite R&B Song;” in addition to her Soul Train Music Awards nominations for “Best R&B/Soul Female Artist” and “The Ashford And Simpson Songwriter’s Award” for “I Hate U.” Over the summer she released Ctrl (Deluxe) which provided a special revisit to her revered major label debut, stocked with unreleased music that offered listeners a deeper insight and breadth to the beloved narrative presented by the original.

The original Ctrl scored SZA five Grammy nominations and has been streamed over 2.3 billion times worldwide since its release on TDE/RCA in 2017. The now 3xRIAA-certified Platinum album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s R&B Albums chart, No. 2 on the R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart and No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart. In 2022 alone it sold over 600,000 units and is the 10th best-selling female album this year in the country and 50th best-selling album this year overall. Ctrl has remained on the Billboard 200 chart since its release, making SZA the first black female artist in history with an album to spend 280 consecutive weeks on theBillboard 200 chart.

K-Pop rock girl group Dreamcatcher releases 7th EP, [Apocalypse : Follow us]

Listen to the title track “Vision” here.

K-Pop rock girl group Dreamcatcher reveals ‘[Apocalypse : Follow us], the second installment of their ‘Apocalypse’ trilogy, today via Sony Music Entertainment Korea. Having the ‘Apocalypse’ era first introduced through their last release, the new EP continues the series’ theme of raising environmental awareness and combating climate change, proposing Dreamcatcher’s vision to restore Earth to a cleaner and safer planet.

‘[Apocalypse : Follow us]’ serves Dreamcatcher’s unique sonic identity with the intro track “Intro : Chaotical X” opening up the EP with an edgy-techno based instrumental, then leading up to their title track “VISION”. Co-composed and arranged by electronica band Glen Check’s June One, “VISION” presents a dark, techno-infused/electronic sound with metal influences, containing Dreamcatcher’s message to join them and to follow their vision to combat environmental issues. The EP includes an alternative rock track “Fairytale” and a groovy rock track emphasizing the importance of self-love in “Some Love”. In addition, Dreamcatcher presents a beautiful ballad highlighting Dreamcatcher’s softer side through the track “Rainy Day” and finally closes out with “Outro : Mother Nature.”

Dreamcatcher has been taking a different approach by combining rock, metal, and electronica elements within their music. Their uniqueness has earned the attention of many and the seven-membered K-Pop rock girl group has been slowly but steadily hitting one milestone after another. Just this year, they have not only won two Korean music programs for the first time since debut, but also became the first K-Pop artist to perform at 2022 Primavera Sound Barcelona in June. They were also the 5th K-Pop Girl Group to chart No.1 on US iTunes All Albums chart this year with their last release ‘[Apocalypse : Save us]’. Meanwhile, Dreamcatcher will be kicking off their ‘[Apocalypse : Follow us] 2022 World Tour’ in Seoul with their ‘[Apocalypse : Broken Halloween]’ concert on October 29th and 30th . Dreamcatcher will then head to Europe in November to tour five cities.

Leah Halili teams up with The Ransom Collective girls on breezy pop track “Clear ToMe”

Filipina singer-songwriter Leah Halili teams up with her fellow The Ransom Collective bandmates Lily and Muriel Gonzales on “Clear To Me,” a dreamy pop tune inspired by her relationship with now-husband, Nikee Banares.

Produced by Carlos Castano, Halili’s new single captures the feeling of romantic affection and how it blooms into something more divine over time. Buoyed by breezy chords and delicate melodies, “Clear To Me” is a beguiling piece of work that was written from the four corners of her bedroom—about the same time her debut single “Fourth of July” was made.

“I pitched this song to my bandmates Lily and Muriel because I knew that I wanted a warm and bright instrumental to add to the song,” says the Fourth of Julyindie pop artist. “With Lily in Indonesia and Muriel in France at the time, it was tricky trying to find the time to record but I’m so grateful to them for effortlessly adding layers of beautiful harmonies to the song. It was enjoyable working with my bandmates again because there’s a level of comfort that I wouldn’t have gotten from anyone else.”

With this particular track, Halili wanted a song that makes listeners feel like they’re in a coming-of-age romantic film, finding light in quiet contentment and earnest love. According to the folk-pop newcomer, “Clear To Me” uplifted her during those times when she missed home the most.

“It was the type of song that each verse and chorus came to me progressively as I was experiencing a totally different life from my life pre-pandemic,” the Halili shares. “Changing jobs, moving from place to place, trying to find myself in a completely different county, there were so many things I needed to adapt to but all the changes made me discover why I fell in-love with music in the first place. It was my safe place. It gave me the freedom to write what I felt and use the melodies in my head to express and relieve me from things around me I had no control over.”

Leah Halili is slated to release a series of volumes soon. She adds, “I want the audience to remember that I’m coming back for more meaningful, beautifully written songs that I hope everyone can relate to somehow.”

Clear To Me” is out now on all digital music platforms worldwide.

I found this Programme for one of our school events during our senior year in high school. I graduated from Holy Family School of Quezon City in 2004. MANESKIN RELEASE NEW SINGLE ‘THE LONELIEST’

FOLLOWING SURPRISE SOLD OUT SHOW LAST NIGHT AT THE UNDERWORLD IN LONDON

(London - 7th October 2022) Today, global rock sensations Måneskin release their highly anticipated

new single ‘The Loneliest’, listen here. The single comes after a summer of phenomenal success

which saw the band dominate festival slots across the globe, as well as perform at Global Citizen,

MTV VMA Awards and more.

Stepping out of their comfort zone to vocalise a new sound not yet explored since their global

success, ‘The Loneliest’ is writhing with odes to classic old-school rock ballads. With roaring vocals

and electrifying guitar solos that are tinged with elegant delicacy, the single sees the band at their

most vulnerable yet.

Talking about the single, Damiano of Måneskin says: “We’re so excited for you all to finally hear

The Loneliest. This song means a lot to me, it’s a personal song but I hope you can all relate to

it in your own way. We played a tiny surprise show in London last night and performed The

Loneliest live for the first time and your reaction meant so much to us! We’re having a

whirlwind year touring the globe, meeting fans at gigs and festivals all over the world, from

Japan to America to Europe and beyond, and we can’t wait to continue touring and releasing

more music into 2023!"

Continuing to leave an indelible mark on the music scene with a swagger and attitude all too scarce

on the scene, Måneskin continue to redefine what it means to be a rock band in 2022. Last night

(Thursday 6th October) they sent fans in the United Kingdom into raptures as they performed new

single ‘The Loneliest’ at the 500 capacity The Underworld in Camden, North London. Announcing the

show the day before via their social channels, Maneskin ripped through a 45 minute set in the sweat

drenched venu after taking to the streets to meet fans who weren’t lucky enough to get in, and play a

heartfelt stripped back version of ‘The Loneliest’ ensuring fans inside and out of the venue were given

a night they will never forget.

Still riding high on the global success of bona fide radio hit ‘Supermodel’ that now stands at 170M

global streams, Måneskin are continuing a phenomenal summer of worldwide domination. 2022 has

so far seen full-throttle, colossal headline shows and huge main stage festival sets at Lollapalooza to

over 65,000 fans where the band literally rocked the crowd up close and personal, Italy’s historic Circo

Massimo which the band sold out and performed a stunning headline set to over 70,000 fans, Rock in

Rio, Pinkpop, Rock am Ring, Summer Sonic, and many more.

Adding to the band’s skyrocketing list of achievements this year alone, Måneskin performed their hit

single ‘SUPERMODEL’ at this year’s MTV VMA Awards - a performance that proved too hot for live

TV, with censors deeming the performance unsuitable for TV broadcast. Their performance has since

been restored and is available to watch on-demandHERE. The celebratory night also saw the band

proudly take home the VMA for ‘Best Alternative Video’ - the first ever VMA Award for an Italian artist.

Måneskin are set to bring the LOUD KIDS tour to the U.S. this winter before returning to Europe and

the UK in 2023.
