James delivers a stunning, powerful ballad about realising the true meaning of life - true love, loving ourselves, our families, communities and being there for them.
“Just Us is a song in which I confess to running away from what really matters and getting lost in the pursuit of validation from external things,” James explains. “It’s about chasing a hedonistic, hollow life. Realising the true meaning of life which is of course about true love, loving ourselves, our families and our communities and being there for them.”
Bitter Sweet Love is James back to his very best, producing thirteen bites of world class music. After being on stage, it struck him how his fifth album should sound. A sold-out crowd was singing along to his hits, immersed in the emotion that James could hear in his own voice.
Within days of the tour ending in the States, James began sessions with different producers to see who could click with his vision. His final stop was in L.A. with Steve Solomon, with whom he co-wrote his 2016 megahit ‘Say You Won’t Let Go’.
Back in Britain, James attempted to write with more producers, but none came close to his bond with Steve, who flew over to finish the album at Miloco Studios in South London last summer, and produce a mature body of work, full of depth and oozing the impeccable songwriting quality that has defined James’s esteemed career to date.
The Middlesbrough-born, recent Brit Billion-certified artist has scored 4 top 10 albums, with 2016’s Back From The Edge hitting the Number 1 spot and over his career has collaborated with the likes of Anne-Marie, Sigala, Rudimental, Marshmello & many more.
James is one of the world’s biggest streaming artists, with over 38 million monthly listeners on Spotify alone. ‘Say You Won't Let Go’ became his breakthrough hit in the US. It was officially the UK's most streamed song in 2016 and has gone on to be enjoyed via 4 billion streams while the song's official video has achieved 1.5 billion views on YouTube. Earlier this year, the track became his first RIAA Diamond Single with 10 million certified units – making James one of just 100 recipients of an RIAA Diamond Single certification in the programme's history.
Other huge hit singles include: ‘Impossible’, ‘Can I Be Him’, ‘Sun Comes Up’, ‘Naked’, ‘Empty Space’, ‘Rewrite The Stars’, ‘Falling Like the Stars’, ‘Train Wreck’ and ‘Lasting Lover’, which are all certified platinum records. The song Cars Outside is currently becoming another global hit for James.

Ben&Ben hopes to uplift the world with acoustic version of “Courage”
The Filipino band encourages listeners to reach for their dreams and goals in life despite dealing with personal tribulations
Ben&Ben asserts the power of surviving personal setbacks in life with another inspiring anthem.
The Filipino folk-pop outfit dedicates the stripped-down version of their new song “Courage (acoustic version)” to the dreamers who are struggling to pull up the strength to confront an unforgiving world.
“The past few months have been mentally tough for the band, with challenges surrounding us and driving us to low points and times of discouragement,” the chart-topping band shares in a press statement. “These valleys have been the inspiration for Courage. We realized that, as visceral as the feeling of being hopeless may be for us, we wanted to channel it into an uplifting piece of music because it is something a lot of people are going through now but have a hard time verbalizing.”
Out today via Sony Music Entertainment, the stripped-downnumber is penned by Miguel and Paolo Benjamin and produced by frequent collaborator Jean Paul Verona, who wanted to focus on a back-to-basics approach while commanding the listener’s attention in every conceivable way—from the powerful lyrics down to the warm melodies.
The multi-awarded ensemble explains, “We went back to our roots for this one, wherein we let the reverberations of the acoustic guitars envelope the harmonies we did for the vocals. We kept it simple for the first release of Courage because we wanted to get the message of the song to our listeners as soon as possible.”
Taking a confident stride back to their distinct brand of intuitive intimacy, Ben&Ben’s “Courage (acoustic version)” offers a compelling snapshot of their journey as individuals and artists, one that isn’t necessarily perfect and full of wins but always clings on to perseverance and courage in a bid to make the world a better place to live in.
Ben&Ben looks forward to recording and arranging the final version of the song in the coming weeks. According to the nine-piece collective, this is the first time in their career that they’ll be premiering the track in a form that usually only the band members hear, which is the stripped-down version.
“Then, we’ll build it up together as a band as the weeks and months go by, and you’ll be hearing more of it as it happens,” the acclaimed band adds.

Filipino music icon AEGIS is set to stage a concert that aims to capture the spirit of the holiday season.
Dubbed AEGIS: The Christmas Bonus Concert, the year-end celebration marks the first time that the OPM stars will be serenading their fans with Christmas-themed songs as well as their career-spanning Greatest Hits set.
The concert will take place on December 20, 2023, from 8:00 p.m. onwards, at the Theatre At Solaire in Paranaque City, Metro Manila.
Backed by an orchestra and rendered with intricate arrangements that elevate the experience of listening to AEGIS live, the concert finds the Pinoy vocal powerhouse at the top of their game, celebrating with fellow Filipino people in expressing gratitude for year-long blessings and love, and for the opportunity to spend more time with family during the holiday breaks.

Alongside live music performances by renowned and up-and-coming acts from 10 different countries across Southeast Asia and the rest of the world, the festival is partnering with a wide variety of craft beer, food, and art vendors from Southeast Asia to give festival-goers a fully immersive experience, fostering a spirit of community and collaboration. Neo Rivera Sings About God’s Comfort in New Song, “Alam Ko”
Actor and singer-songwriter Neo Rivera reassureslisteners of God’s comforting love in his newest inspirational single produced by Reverb Worship PH titled,Alam Ko—out now on all digital streaming platforms worldwide!
Originally written as a “rant” song, Neo penned Alam Koin just 10 minutes, which flowed from a night of intense emotions, feelings of isolation, and the weight of being left behind. That was when critically acclaimed songwriter and music producer Kikx Salazar stepped in and urged him to re-write the song, but this time, from God’s point of view.
“I wanted the song to feel like a warm hug from God. A comfort in isolation,” Neo recalled. “After the song sessionwith Kikx, the lyrics spoke to me so much. How it was initially a rant song then turned out to be an answer to that rant—it spoke to me on many levels.”
A personal message of faith, paired with Neo’s soulfulvocals and Kikx’s masterful composition, Alam Ko serves as a beautiful reminder that even when one doesn’texpress pains, feelings, and needs, God knows and cares deeply, “God may seem silent, and we may never fully understand His ways, but we are assured that He is good and will always be faithful.”
Kikx echoes his sentiments and shares a profound message for anyone who is going through tough times, “In times of doubt, weakness, and pain… in times we cannot escape the storm, know that we don’t have to face italone. We have God and He knows all our brokennessand cries. Hold on to Him and let Him carry us through it all.”
